As part of our expansion plans we are seeking to recruit a young dynamic result oriented individual to fill the following position.

AUDIT ASSISTANT
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following.

Key responsibilities
* Performs professional internal auditing work involving conducting performance, financial, compliance, and information technology audits;
* Providing consulting services to the organization’s management and staff and
providing key input in development of the annual audit plan.

* Assist in identifying technology risks, and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of information technology infrastructure and application controls, including security and internal controls.
* Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards. Works independently under general supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
* Conducts interviews, reviews documents, develops and administers surveys, compose summary memos, and prepares working papers.
* Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.
* Assists in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management.
* Develops and maintains productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
* Pursues professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with co-workers.
* Executes audits of company server technology platforms and evaluates IT internal controls and works collaboratively with management to identify actions needed.
* Conducts data extraction, analysis, and security reviews utilizing software tools.
* Supports audits and consulting engagements related to programming, mainframe batch and online processes, company-server architecture, Internet and intranet functionality, database extraction, technology strategy, and data communication and network security.
* Assesses information technology control elements to mitigate IT risks regarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of business information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* University degree in Information Technology with strong interest in commerce or University degree in commerce with a diploma in Information Technology;
* Professional Qualifications in Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional);
* Knowledge of Windows environment, Oracle and Network infrastructure.
* Detailed knowledge of information systems governance, information security principles and practices;
* Outstanding analytical skills with knowledge of use of Computer Aided Audit Tools (CAATS).
* Demonstrate deep understanding of the audit process, controls and procedures.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Demonstrate ability to write timely, constructive and actionable audit reports
