Sales & Marketing Manager- Leading Satellite Communication Company

Our client is the leading satellite-based telecommunications provider in Africa offering satellite based solutions for different industry sectors.

Our client now has a vacancy for a Sales & Marketing Manager. The details of this position are as indicated below.

Position: Sales & Marketing Manager

Reporting;- to CEO.

Job description:
The main responsibility for this position is procurement of new business as well as maintaining and growing existing accounts.

This will include;
* Developing sales strategies and setting targets to grow sales.
* Lead a team of Sales account managers in sales and relations management.
* Develop and manage marketing tools and collateral for existing and new clients
* Build referral and lead generation network.
* Monitoring your team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets
* Account Management.

Qualifications:

A degree in marketing or equivalent
* Diploma in sales & Marketing
* You must be at least 28 years of age.
* Sales experience- Over 3 years – Selling IT / VSAT/Networking solutions in a commission based environment and least 2 years experience in managing a sales team.
* Pro-active and motivated self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team.
* Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills.
* Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills
* Must be highly dependable, disciplined and self motivated
* Track record- of success.
* Owns a car and laptop.

Remuneration
A competitive package will be negotiated with the successful candidate. This package will incorporate an attractive performance based payment.
