Brief Description:
The Local Buyer's role is to manage local procurement activities in a manner that assists in the achievement of corporate C&P objectives and the delivery of set targets.
The Local Buyer is responsible for the efficient administration of all local materials procurement activities within the organization in accordance with corporate procurement procedures and governance processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Be between 30 and 40 years oldHolder of a degree in Procurement & Supplies ManagementHas at least 5 years experience in a busy computerized procurement environment in a manufacturing companyMust be a registered member of Kenya Institute of Supplies ManagementHas a high level of computer literacyKnowledge of Maximo will be an added advantageHas the highest level of integrity and personal effectiveness and can hold a 360-degrees view on issues and be a change agent
