The role provides extensive administrative and personal support to the principals of the business. The individual will be required to perform a wide variety of duties including but not limited to office management, filing/records management, basic accounting support, managing company clients and supervising the work of other support staff.
In undertaking this role, the successful candidate is expected to exercise considerable initiative, high initiative and a high degree of social skills dealing with the full range of people in many varying situations representing the principals in varied situations.
Applicants for this position should posses the following:
A Degree in Administration or related business-related field
At least 1-2 years experience in a busy environment including offering personal assistance to very busy executives
Strong communication and people relationship management skills
A strong team ethic with excellent interpersonal skills, a motivational personality that relates well with people across all levels of society
Highly proficient in computer packages including Ms Word and Excel
Basic numeracy and analytical skills
Excellent personal organization and coordination skills
Attention to detail and strong problem solving ability
A high degree of integrity and honesty and ability to build credibility with the principal’s clients, employees and internal and external stakeholders
A flexible personality who is willing to adapt to the challenges of a start-up business
Property management and marketing experience will be an added advantage
The salary range for this position is Kshs.30,000/= but flexible based on experience and demonstrated competence.
