Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Company Profile: A multinational company that deals in the Manufacturing and Production of Nutritional and dairy products, coffee, tea, beverages, chocolate and confectionery

Reports to: Factory Logistics Manager

Main Purpose of the Job

Planning and organizing the receipt, stocking and issue of raw/packing materials, miscellaneous items and the dispatch of finished products and miscellaneous items

Main Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

Supervise all warehouse activities in with Quality Monitoring system to material quality at all timesSupervise to maintain good hygienic conditions of the warehouse and its environs in accordance with SHE, NQMS and FSMSEnsures that goods delivered to the company are exactly according to the order by checking their quality, quantity and condition on arrivalTo control the dispatch of goods by ensuring that only released and dully authorized goods are dispatched from the WarehouseTo ensure safe storage of raw, packaging, semi-finished, finished materials and all other items in the warehouse by spot checks, good housekeeping and identification of unsafe conditions and working methodsTo provide reliable information to management at any point in time on stocks and conditions of goods in the warehouse by establishing, maintaining and updating accurate records of stocks, issues and dispatchesTo manage the continuous supply of wholesome materials in their right quantities without any delay as requested by internal customersControl cost by ensuring proper storage and handling of materials to minimize losses from damageTo develop staff through job training, instill discipline in all, improve and motivate subordinates to enhance improved performancePrepares shift plan for staff under his control and ensure their effectivenessCo-ordinates with Transporters and Customers for the delivery of goods and dispatch of finished productsEnsures regular system clean up such that physical stock situation corresponds with that of operating system (SAP)Schedules, manages stock taking and maintain inventory accuracy at 100% all timesSupervise the daily conduction of System Health Check and its analysisMinimum of two years experience in warehouse operations and inventory managementKnowledge in Microsoft word and excelPlanning and stock management skillsLeadership skillsBachelors degree / HND in any disciplineTo apply for this position send your CV to mycv@myjobseye.com quoting the position in the subject line.
