The company employs around 14,500 staff at more than 100 international sites.Coordination of schedules and activities during power plant mobilizationEnsure that the operation of power plant is executed in accordance with contractual obligations (e.g. Power Purchase Agreement, Fuel Supply Agreement, O&M Agreement) during plant mobilization and teething phaseDevelop and implement Standard Operation Procedures for the plant in order to ensure that all site activities are carried out in a safe and sound manner according to legal and organizational requirements to assure safety and integrity of staff, environment and equipmentMonitor and assess plant operation performance after transfer of responsibilities to plant manager, preparation of technical and financial performance reportsSeveral years of experience as power plant manager or general manager in both Operation and Maintenance of a Diesel Power Plant, or Master of Sience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, MBA with 5 years experience as plant manager and/or experience as Marine Chief Engineer Solid understanding of performance factors adversely affecting the competitiveness of an energy producer as well as of financial parameters related to the performance of a large bore diesel engines running on heavy fuel oilFluent in spoken and written EnglishThe position is to be filled for a limited period of time.
