Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring the vessel is ship shape.Carrying out general cleaning of deck, superstructure and hull maintenance.Carrying out vessel boarding, search and seizure.Carrying out sea man ship duties.Preparing weekly report to the coxswain on defects, deficiencies and actual condition of the stores.Any other relevant duties assigned.Requirements for appointment

Academic and professional qualifications
KCSE C Plain or its equivalent.Diploma in Marine/Nautical Engineering or relevant training from a recognized institution.Must have worked at least 3 years in a large vessel.Competencies
Good communication skills.Interpersonal skills.Self management skills.Decision making skills.Basic marine survival skills.Result oriented.Must have high standards of integrity.Team player. How to Apply
