Marine Officer II - Coxswain / NavigatorSafe maneuvering of the vessel.In charge of the boat’s husbandry.Directing and supervising staff below him on routine cleanliness amid ship’s husbandry.Ensuring adequate stocking of detergents, cleaning and painting materials onboard.In charge of watch and station billsCompiling and reporting defectsAny other relevant duties assigned.Academic and professional qualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Marine/Nautical studies or a related field from a recognized University.Professional qualification in the relevant field.Membership to a relevant professional body.Must have worked for at least 3 years in a large vessel.Good communication skills.Interpersonal skills.Problem solving skills.Basic marine survival Skills.Decision making skills.Result oriented.Must have high standards of integrity.Team player.
