Senior Research Executive - Ipsos Business Consulting

Role Purpose: To be successful in this role you will be able comfortable working autonomously, as well as part of larger teams, delivering work of a high standard to your clients. 

You will have a keen understanding of what it takes to excel in a client-facing role and place the interest of clients at the heart of everything that you do.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering large and complex Research project engagements, both on and off client sites in Sub-Saharan Africa. 

Your work on a typical assignment will include gathering primary and secondary data, analyzing this information with a logic check, putting your findings, conclusion and recommendations into a well-written English language report for the client.

You will liaise with our colleagues in other business areas and assist in agreeing scope, being responsible for certain project deliverables and quality and client satisfaction in your immediate area of responsibility.

Preparation of robust and rigorous working papers and deliverables in line with Ipsos Business Consulting standards and methodologies.

Helping develop strong, long term client relationships.

Involvement in supporting sales activities including assisting on proposals, identifying opportunities during the course of engagements.

The Person

To be successful in this role you will have:A relevant University Degree with upper second class honours, preferably in Commerce, Economics or International businessA broad interest in business and commerce, including international business, strategy, marketing and economic issuesA minimum of 3 years continuous experience in similar role and knowledge on industry issuesAt least 2 years’ experience in market research would be an added advantageAn ability to absorb and analyze information quicklyExcellent communication skills (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills.Excellent reporting and presentation skillsAbility to develop strong client relationshipsAttention to detailAbility to deliver work within tight time scales, to budget and to a high quality.Strong team player but able to work on own initiative.Ability to work in locations around Kenya as well as undertaking work in other Sub-Saharan countriesThis is a challenging opportunity for a dedicated and highly motivated professional, with a strong commitment to Ipsos values.
