Business Development Manager – East Africa
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – Africa, the Business Development Manager – East Africa will be responsible for analyzing and developing sales in the East African markets for Pentair products and services in line with Pentair Africa’s Key Performance Indicators. The target markets are mining, oil & gas, power generation, water, chemical and petrochemical, pulp & paper and general industries.
Conducting market analysis for Pentair Ltd products and services in the East African market and in particular Burundi, Central African Republic, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somali, South Sudan, Tanzania and UgandaAchieving the set sales targets for Pentair Valves and ControlsManaging the East African sales channels and where distributors are utilized, develop templates and reports which will be used in monitoring performance and corrective measures where necessaryDeveloping strong business relationships with the key market players in the East African regionDeveloping trend – setting strategies which will lead to business growth in the East African regionEnforcing the use of Sales Force Optimization programLiaising with the other Regional Sales and Project Managers in the follow up of global projectsQualifications, Experience and KnowledgeDegree/Diploma in Sales and Marketing or any relevant fieldA minimum of 5 years experience in sales and marketing.
