Job Purpose: Reporting to Head of Operations, Transport Officer will coordinate, prioritize and schedule fleet movement, inspection, repairs and maintenance.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the inspection of the Company fleet at the Government Inspection Unit and carry out internal vehicle inspections.Prepare monthly duty rooster for drivers /riders in liaison with Head of Operations. Monitor the company vehicles movement, usage and fuel uptake levels.Ensure all drivers bear the appropriate documentation i.e. licenses, identification cards and permits.Work closely with the insurance companies in the event accidents occur and ensure proper documentation is filled. Follow up with Traffic Police whenever Company vehicles are involved in accidents.Develop a service schedule for company vehicles and liaise with external garages whenever a company vehicle requires services. Arrange for the renewal for vehicle insurance.
