Automotive Engineer – Nairobi
The successful candidate will be tasked with a duty to ensure proper functioning and maintenance of company vehicles & forklifts availability of ready fleet at all times & keep records of the fleet and cut costs
Responsibilities
- Design & implementation of maintenance
- Periodic fleet service schedule
- Rectifying all mechanical faults
- Source on good wireman and good engineer to handle our job when need arises
- Source for high quality spare parts with a courteous mind on cost comparative to the market
- Liaise with professionals for the diligent supply and service
- Provide effective leadership and basic training to drivers and turn boys on board
- Ensuring a zero tolerance to towing of our fleet.(breakdown on road)
- Ensure highest personal standards of work performance.
Experience
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering
- 10 years experience in a busy garage
- Valid driving license
