Applications are invited from suitably qualified Kenyan nationals for the following position:
Job Title: Manager – Governance and Advocacy
Location: Marsabit
Duration: One (1) Year
Job Summary: To provide strategic and technical direction for Concern’s Governance and Advocacy programme in Marsabit County.
Job Specification:
- A degree in Social Sciences preferably Law, Political Science or Public Administration
- Five years’ experience with at least three (3) years’ experience in advocacy and governance programing with a bias towards a human rights based approach to development and in drafting of legal opinions and policy briefs
- Competency in the decentralized system of governance specifically Kenya’s devolved structure and the application of advocacy strategies to promote positive development outcomes
