Farm Manager Job Opportunity in Taveta, Kenya (Re-Advertisement)

A fast growing Farm Located 15 Kms from Taveta Town is looking for a competent and result oriented Veterinary Surgeon to fill the position of a Farm Manager.

Key Competencies

• A self motivated and transformative team player determined to bring real impact in order to realize the overall objectives of the farm.


• Ability to work under no supervision and meeting agreed performance targets.


• Must be ready to stay on the farm or at a place with quick access to the farm at all times


• Must understand the principles of complete integrated farming


• Must be ready to attend to the various species including bovines and canines.


• Must indicate at least two referees preferably previous employer.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years relevant experience in farm settings taking care of various species.


• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from a recognized university and be able to competently handle  Large scale pig production, Dairy Farming, Poultry, Pets, fish among others.


• With a bias to Porcine production


• Extensive knowledge in Animal genetics and production, Animal nutrition and feed formulation will be an added advantage.


• A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the right candidate.
