Mechanics (A&C) and Cabin Interior Technicians Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Our client a world leading MRO in the United Arab Emirates is looking to fill the positions of Mechanics (A&C) and Cabin Interior Technicians for contract and permanent positions  for their base in Abu Dhabi. 

The successful candidate MUST have 3 years heavy maintenance  (C and D checks) experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out instructions of the lead man of the group assigned by the aircraft manager, ensure the equipments used for the job is safe (such as steps, ladders, man lifts, tools etc.)


• Carry out  parts replacement and  repairs of  aircraft / cabin systems within  the limitations  of  your trade authorisation and under the supervision of an approved engineer.


• Carry out  modification in accordance with  the enqineerinq orders, instructions or manufacturer service bulletins under direct supervision.


• Assisting crew chief while carrying out minor / major maintenance checks.


• Carry out limited operational checks under the supervision and direction of the approved engineer.


• Assisting crew chief in demanding required spare parts and material through the use of the computer system.


• Accounting and inspection of tools and tester sets in use; booking and returning testers, etc.  and special tools to tool crib; reporting on their serviceability or unserviceability status.


• Carry out sequential update of aircraft documentation within the scope of his approval.


• To ensure that all work carried out is correctly certified and productive time is accurately recorded by the end of each job.


• Maintaining a good level of housekeeping practices, in the aircraft docks and in the hangar shops.


• Ensure that immediate work area is kept tidy and all waste material is appropriately disposed of.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience working on Airbus or Boeing aircraft (A320, A330, A345/6, B777, B787).


• At least 3 years experience working in base/heavy maintenance.


• Good spoken and written English.


• Have a formal training/apprenticeship.


• Requirements are for unlicensed mechanics NOT licensed mechanics/engineers.


• Licensed mechanics can apply if they will be interviewed for the package on offer.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 130,000 – 150,000/= Plus other benefits (Approx. 1,300 – 1,500 USD) depending on experience
