NUTRITION AND DIETETICS TECHNOLOGIST III, JOB GROUP ‘CPSB 11’ (H)


THREE (3) POSTS


Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable


 Responsibilities



  • Providing nutrition services in health care facilities

  • Conducting nutrition assessments

  • Collating and compiling nutrition data

  • Providing nutrition health education and demonstrations

  • Counseling patients with specific nutritional needs

  • Monitoring preparation of therapeutic feeds

  • Implementing outpatient and inpatient supplementary and therapeutic feeding programmes

  • Providing micronutrient supplementation

  • Monitoring and evaluating diet related non communicable diseases

  • Implementing hospital menus

  • Preparing monthly nutrition reports in health care facilities

  • Promoting baby friendly hospital and community initiatives

  • Supporting nutrition emergency response


Qualifications



  • Diploma in Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition or Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized institution

  • Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution

  • Registration by the Council of the Institute of Nutritionists and Dieticians (CIND)


Salary Scale:


The salary, allowances and other benefits attached to the above positions will be as determined by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
