Responsibilities



  • Implementation all laboratory technical activities

  • Assisting in Preparing media, stains and dyes; receiving, recording, packaging, dispatching, analyzing and preserving test samples

  • Maintaining biological cultures;

  • Assist in undertaking disease surveillance activities;
    coordinating quality assurance tests for vaccine, animal products, inputs, and by products;

  • Maintaining laboratory records and equipment and caring for laboratory animals


Qualifications



  • Diploma in Animal Health or related field

  • A member of Kenya Veterinary Board

  • 2 years’ work experience in related field

  • Planning skills

  • Report writing skills
