Fire Officer Internship

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Ensuring compliance with fire safety standards; 
• Preparation of estimates related to fire installations; 
• Inspection of buildings to asses fire hazards and risks;
• Supervision of installation, repair and maintenance of fire equipment in public buildings, hospitals, conference centers and institutions; conducting fire investigations and compiling reports.

Qualifications

• Be unemployed graduate from a recognized institution having graduated within the last three (3) years (2020,2021,2022);
• Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Chemical Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized Institution;
• First Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. St. John’s Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution;
• Have no previous work experience related to the area of study;
• Certificate of good conduct.
