Job Title: Operations Manager
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Nairobi
Main Responsibilities
Management of all operations within the departmentFormulating departmental strategies and synchronizing these strategies with other departments within E-PlusManaging and ensuring compliance of the staff duty rota by all operations staffConsistently ensure availability of medical suppliesResponsible for ambulance quality control measuresManaging ambulance revenues and costsLiaising with other departments such as the sales and marketing team in ensuring brand visibility and awarenessAmbulance stock managementConsistent management of all departmental reportsEnsure weekly continued medical education sessions are organized and followed up for all staff including the regionsManage critical incident stress debriefKeep inventory of all equipment and a schedule of their servicing and maintenanceDegree in critical care nursing, a masters in the same field will be an added advantageCertificate in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Basic Life, Support.At least 6 years experience in Critical care Management with 2 years experience in an Emergency response fieldTrainer Of Trainees certificate is an added advantageExperience in establishment of a critical care department is an added advantageA demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplaceExcellent people management skills, communication skills, open to directionIf you meet the above requirements, please submit a copy of your Cv and academic testimonials to hr@eplus.co.ke or drop them at the Kenya Red Cross HQ by 28th December 2010.
