1. Computer Programmer
Salary Range of Kshs. 341,280 – 496,1401= P.A.
Plus House Allowance of 15,000/= Per Month
Qualification and Experience
* EACE, KCE DIV. III or KCSE C+, Diploma in Information Technology/Diploma in Computer Technology obtained from a recognized college or a degree holder in information Technology/Computer Science
* Working experience of 2 (two) years will be an added advantage
* Broad knowledge of PC Hardware/Software and peripherals to networking
* Ability to identify and resolve Computer Systems operations problems
* Windows 2003 Server and active Directory
* Micro-soft Office products
* Hardware Environment (PC, Server)
* MCSE Certification would be an asset
Duties
* Providing assistance to end users concerning the use of Computer Hardware and Software including printing, installation, Word processing Electronic mail and Operating system.
* Assist assigned end users in computer software including specialized software that may be used by the Council.
* Perform basic network configuration procedures for the Council
* Training individuals and in group-based setting
* Oversee the daily performance of computer systems
2. Assistant Community Development Officer
S.S. 10.
Kshs. 341,280 – 496,140 P.A.
Plus House Allowance of Kshs 15,000/= Per Month
Qualification and Experience
* Degree in Sociology/social work or a post graduate in Sociology or K.C.S.E mean grade C+
* Must have one year relevant experience in social work and community development
* Self-Driven and team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent skills in report and proposal writing
* Well experienced in local authority process, structure and management
* Must have attended community organization trainings
Duties and Responsibilities
* Interpretation and implementation of all policies which touch on community development and social service as instructed by the Town Clerk.
* Recommend and advice the Town Clerk and relevant Council Committee on matters of community development and social services and implementation of subsequent resolutions.
* Mobilization of the community in identifying projects and management of various social and economic activities.
* Any other duties that may be assigned by the Town Clerk/Town Treasurer from time to time.
3. Market Inspector
S.S. 10. K.SHS. 341,280 – 496.140 PA.
Plus House Allowance of KShs. 15,000/= Per Month
* EACE DIV. III OR KCSE C- and above
* CPA II other related field from a recognized institution.
* Not less than 3 years at the grade of Market Inspector II
* Must have attended a supervisory course at any Government Training Institute.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for day-to-day administration of Local Authority Markets
* Enforcement of Market By-Laws
* Ensure Council revenue from the market is collected
* Supervision of staff in revenue collection
* Accounting of receipt books and money collected
* Remitting revenue collected to the Council promptly
* Any other duties that may be assigned by the Town Clerk/Town Treasurer from time to time.
