Human Resource Officer

Purpose of Position
Ensure effective development and administration of the human resources policies, procedures, guidelines and programs.
Responsibility
Develop, improve, implement and maintain ACAL’s HR processes, procedures, guidelines and policiesActs as an internal consultancy professional, and assist the line managers in understanding and implementing HR processes, procedures, guidelines and policiesWork together with other section managers to identify vacancies, prepare job descriptions, advertise, screen applicants, interview and select appropriate recruitsEnsure compensation and benefits are in line with Company policies and updated Government Regulations.Coordinate the staff performance appraisal processEnsure effective resolution of employee conflicts and effective communication between Company and employees.Interpreting and notifying employees on employment legislation.Developing HR strategic plans with line managers, in terms of skill and staff number in relation to the long-term and immediate staff requirements.Planning and delivering training occasionally, including induction programs for new hires.Advising management on career development, work matters and industrial matters.Develop and maintain proper HR filing and record keeping system.Prepare and monitor the HR budget.Up to date HR processes, procedures, guidelines and policiesProper HR RecordsPrompt resolution of employee conflictsPrompt filling of vacanciesBachelor DegreeHuman Resource DiplomaAt least Five years of relevant experience
