The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) is the Australian Government agency responsible for managing Australia’s overseas aid program. The Australian Government has an ambitious agenda to rapidly increase its development assistance across Africa while also deepening its engagement with key countries to achieve meaningful development impacts. One of AusAID’s core principles is to accelerate progress towards the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The aid program seeks to cover the entire African continent and focus on ways in which Australia can make a significant difference in Africa’s efforts to meet the MDGs.
AusAID has a presence in Nairobi, Pretoria, Harare, Accra and Addis Ababa. The priority sectors for the East and Horn of Africa region include humanitarian assistance, maternal and child health, food security, tertiary education through scholarships and community development programs. AusAID also has a continent-wide initiative (the Australia-Africa Partnerships Facility) that aims to support partnerships between Australian and African institutions in priority areas. In order to support the scale-up of the Australian Government’s Development Assistance Program in the East and Horn of Africa, AusAID is expanding its Nairobi Regional Office. The organisation is looking to recruit exceptional and experienced individuals to fill the following positions, all based in Nairobi.
PROGRAM MANAGERS – 3 Positions

The Program Managers will assist in managing their assigned priority area by administering complex projects and managing AusAID’s relationship with counterparts and key stakeholders.
