Regional Performance Management, analyze regional performance and provide feedback, guidance, training and encouragement to employees in order to impact results. For instance, ensure that the timelines of East African projects are achieved in coordination with the operations team.
• Ensure to meet Quarterly Sales Target of Wavetec in Africa.
• Discussion with Wavetec top management about sales and marketing strategies in East Africa and other African Regions.
• Company relationship management with a main objective to drive regional corporate sales.
• Preparation of monthly regional performance reports to the management.
• Ensure high level of service & customer satisfaction with all regional/international clients and distributors.
• Supporting and making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs.
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education to clients, if required.
• Assist in the developing of new innovative ideas of operations, procedures and policies.
• Ensure that all African Employees and distributors have the relevant knowledge to carry out their duties/roles and to support them frequently whenever needed. The Asst. Manager should also coordinate with HR to arrange relevant training for employees in the region if needed.
• Conduct and attend regional meetings.
• Research potential clients and pursue new business relationships through personal network and other relevant avenues.
• Ensure generation of recurrent sales from existing clients within East Africa
• Planning and preparation of work related presentations and proposals.
• To represent WAVETEC to all work related function and activities within East Africa
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, BBA, or related. MBA and MIS is preferred.
• At least 2-4 years work experience in a managerial position.
• Experience in IT sales and Company relationship management.
• Basic networking & IT knowledge
• Sales/ Marketing background
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are essential
