Our client, a Leading Food Processing Company in Kenya, is seeking to recruit an experienced, energetic and proactive Chief Executive Officer whose main responsibility will be to establish and execute plans to achieve the company’s objectives including competitiveness and growth.
The position reports to the Board and has the following key responsibilities:
Provide Strategic leadership,thereby assuring a smoothly functioning and efficient Company;
Ensure efficient production and distribution of high quality products;
Effective and efficient Board support ;
Monitor the implementation of the strategic plan and Identifying performance gaps, instituting reviews and ensuring that overall organizational objectives are met in a timely manner;
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements and sound business ethics and practices;
Ensure strategic staff management systems that develop,motivate and retain talent within the company;
Oversee the fiscal activities of the company including budgeting, reporting and audit.
Key skills and competencies
Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Strategic Management
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field.
CPA K is an added advantage
Ten (10) years’ experience in food production industry/ FMCG, five(5) of which must have been in Senior Management
Membership of a professional body
