Our client, an international contractor engaged in road construction in East Africa is seeking to recruit a Roads Project Manager to be based in East Africa.

This position is open to East African residents and interested expatriates.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will be responsible for the planning, execution and monitoring of the road project assigned.

Job Profile

In charge of all the project resources and staff.Responsible for the overall and day to day running of the project to ensure that works are done on schedule and as per the employer’s/client specifications.Represent the company in meetings with the employer.Preparation of Payment Certificates.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.A Master’s degree/ post graduate qualification in project management will be an added advantage.20 years’ postgraduate experience with at least 10 years in road construction.Must be a registered Engineer from a recognized Institute of Engineers Board.Computer literacy: candidate should be proficient in MS Office.Ability to plan, manage people and organize a team.Good report writing, client management and time management skills.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Ability to work well under pressure.Willingness to travel within East Africa.A very competitive expatriate remuneration package will be offered to the qualified candidate.
