Position: Recruitment Assistant

Supervised by: Human Resources Manager
Job Purpose:
Attract candidates and matching them to temporary or permanent positions jobs with client companies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Developing a good understanding of the client, their industry, what they do, their culture and environment.Advertising vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media.Headhunting by identifying and approaching suitable candidatesCompleting a search of the candidate database to find the right person for the client’s vacancy.Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and short-listing candidatesRequesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the employerPreparing CV’s and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicantsBuilding relationships with clientsOrganizing interviews for candidate as required in order to meet the timelineInforming candidates about the results of their interviewsNegotiating pay and salary rates and finalizing arrangements between client and candidates.Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes.Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management, business administration.At least 2 years relevant experience in recruitment.Conversant with the current Labour laws.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Computer literateKey satisfactory performance of the positionAttending to client’s positions within 5 working daysSuccessfully filling 70% of all incoming positions.Interested and qualified candidates can send there resume to recruitment@workforceassociates.net on or before 9th December 2011.
