Administrator

The Administrator will support the day-to-day administration of the regional office and support other staff including sign language interpretation during meetings, workshops and conferences. Key responsibilities include: • To develop and maintain office procedures and systems to ensure the efficient operation of the regional office. • Maintaining all statutory records at the regional office level, such as staff attendance registers, staff leave registers, monthly meeting registers, maintenance of assets register and such other documents as required. • To make all administrative arrangements for the Regional office as required and to organise project visits for both staff members and external visitors. • Support regional staff to document and maintain their records and project records, both electronic and hard copies. • To handle enquiries and correspondence and deal with them appropriately. • Provide sign language interpretation during meetings, workshops and conferences. • To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.

We are looking for an individual with the following competencies: • Have completed college level education • Proven experience of administrative support to a busy team • To have excellent written, signing and verbal communication skills • Good interpersonal skills, able to work well with different levels of staff and project partners • Able to prioritise, work methodically and to work to deadlines/under pressure • Sign language interpreter • Have strong computer skills, in particular experience of Microsoft Office • Good attention to detail in all aspects of work, • Commitment to Leonard Cheshire Disability ethos and value base
