Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical engineering.
Experience: about 5 to 7 years in a ferrous foundry of repute. Should be good at reading engineering drawing as he will be expected to work out the pattern layouts, inspect the patterns and castings (both quality and dimensional.).
Methoding experience will be an added advantage.
Main responsibility: fettling output, quality of castings, pattern and casting inspection and heat treatment planning.
Additional responsibility: Melting and molding as a support function.
