Our client in the Hospitality industry in Mombasa, is urgently looking for a Human Resource Manager.

Reporting to the MD, the HR Manager will be responsible for guiding and managing Human Resource programs, policies and procedures.

The position requires a strategic thinker who understands the impact of people on the overall objectives of the business.

He/she must have Hospitality industry experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Overall responsible for the Human Resource function of the company Advise top management on best practice Human Resource ManagementCarry out employee induction and placementEnsure all HR related documentation is well maintainedPromote health and safetyImplement and run a Performance Management systemImplement training & development Programs Ensure timely recruitment of staff including casualsDevelop and implement HR policies and procedures.Implement a computerized HRM System Develop and implement reward management and remuneration strategies to attract, motivate and retain staffPrepare HR budgets and ensure compliance to the approved salary budget.Required skills and qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a business related areaA higher diploma in Human Resource Management Must have not less than 3 years experience as HRM in the hospitality/hotel industryExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrategic knowledge and thinkingHonesty, confidentiality and integrityDemonstrated high level of maturity and good leadership skillsExcellent organization, planning and analytical skillsAbility to drive changeMust show initiative, innovation and high level efficiencyGood knowledge of the Hospitality industryA good team player who is customer focusedProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteHow to apply
