Introduction: The KCCB – General Secretariat is the National Administrative, facilitative and Coordinative arm through which the KCCB implements and co-ordinates various Pastoral programs at the National level and undertakes all those responsibilities which express the mission of the Catholic Church in Kenya.
It is seeking an outstanding and results oriented individuals to fill the following key positions. Duties and Responsibilities
Performs secretarial duties, data entry, receives and screens office calls and correspondence, responds to routine telephone inquiries; forwards calls to appropriate partyDraft letters for the Head of department review to facilitate communicationFacilitate circulation of minutes and ensure execution of action plans/recommendationsMake all logistical arrangements for department staff Accurately maintains a variety of logs and files. Monitors departmental materials and supplies and orders as neededMaintain the office registryReceive and direct all visitors to the office Prepare requisite documents for the Meetings and Workshops Sort out mail and ensure dispatch to the proper destinationsManage the office diaryPerforms other duties as assigned.Advanced Secretarial studiesDegree in Business Administration or equivalentBasic Accounting knowledge Competence in Computer and related programmes Minimum of 5 years professional experience Able to work under minimum supervisionHas good interpersonal and communication skills including Coordination Excellent written and oral communications skills in EnglishA good knowledge of social teachings of the Church, and Ethical principlesApplications should be addressed to:-General Secretary
