Expression of Interest
 

The Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) is a Development Finance Institution (DFI), whose mandate is to offer short, medium and long-term finance to the agricultural community. 

The Corporation plans to transform into an Agro Bank in the next few years.

Today it has 44 branches spread across the country through which it carries out lending activities. 

As part of the transformation agenda, the Corporation invites Expression of Interest (EOI) for a Brand Strategy Partner as below:-
 

1. AFC/EOI/01/11//2015-2016 – Brand Strategy Partner
 

The objective of the EOI is to shortlist vendors who would later be invited to submit detailed technical and financial proposals to be a Brand Strategy Partner for the Corporation.
 

Expected Outcomes
 

(i) Articulation of a new Brand Strategy
 

(ii) Delivery of a comprehensive go-to-market plan for the transformed AFC
 

(iii) Develop a Communications Strategy and implementation plan
 

The response to the EOI should contain the following:

1. Profile of the company/firm


2. List of services offered by company / firm


3. List of similar assignments carried out in the past 5 years for reference


4. Copies of the last three years audited financial statements


5. Copy of the certificate of incorporation


6. Copy of PIN certificate


7. Copy of tax compliance certificate


8. Copy of the VAT Certificate


9. Copy of CR 12 certificate


10. Copy of the Directors ID Cards

The expression of interest (EOI) should be delivered in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR A BRAND STRATEGY PARTNER – AFC/EOI/01/11/2015-2016”, addressed to:

Nairobi

And to be deposited in the Tender Box at our Headquarters, Development House, 5th Floor Main Reception, along Moi Avenue, Nairobi, so as to reach us on or before Friday 18th December 2015 at 12.00 Noon.

The expression of interest (EOI) will be opened thereafter in the presence of applicants or their representatives who choose to attend at Development House, Conference Room, located on 3rd Floor, at 12.30 am on the same day

The list of the shortlisted firms will be maintained in the Agricultural Finance Corporation’s Database but will not constitute contractual obligation with any party
