Sales Executive (Advertising Sector) Job in Kenya

We are hiring for the Sales Executive position, for one of our clients in the advertising sector. 

Salary: Shs 30k – 40k, plus commission

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sell ad space or time.


• Manage company brand and reputation.


• Solicit new  business via door to door, cold  calling etc


• Perform extensive research on clients and competitors.


• Manage client relations with the company.


• Assist in developing a strong relationship between the company and its existing and new clients.


• Generate and describe creative, results-focused marketing concepts to a diverse client base.


• Assist in activation of existing dormant client accounts.


• Represent the company in meetings as and when required by the Line manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Basic university Degree in a business related course


• Diploma in sales and marketing


• At least  two (2)  years working experience in a similar role


• Good knowledge of assigned regions; including laying strategy for market expansion and penetration


• Good communication skills


• Ability to work irregular hours


• Selling skills and good interpersonal skills


• People management skills


• Should demonstrate excellent spoken and written language skills with excellent telephone etiquette.


• Must be highly organized, dependable result oriented and a good time manager.
