Our client is one of the largest corporate and commercial law firms in Kenya.
They provide legal advice and transaction services to a wide range of international and local clients.
They are looking to recruit a competent and dynamic Training and Development Officer to plan, implement and manage their training programmes.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and manage training programmes
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive induction programme.
- Develop and manage the training budget
- Liaise with Partners, Human Resources and Practice Development team with respect to staff training needs and implement solutions
- Arranging internal and external subject matter experts for the training programmes
- Updating and distributing the annual training plan/ calendar
- Administer training related documentation and keep record of training done
- Responsible for conducting training needs analysis per employee and advise and update personal development plans
- Organise resources required for training and avail them as is necessary
- Facilitate staff training
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field i.e. Training, Education, Human Resources, Business
- Post Graduate Diploma in HRM
- Qualified assessor, moderator, facilitator is an added advantage
- Minimum of two (2) years of business experience in training and development preferably in the professional services sector
- Computer literacy and fluency in English.
- High work ethic, tenacious and an ability to work without close supervision.
- Strong facilitation skills including an ability to confidently engage with Senior Managers
