[The University of Manitoba – Centre for Global Public Health (UoM-CGPH), with funding from The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and through Partners for Health and Development in Africa (PHDA), has been contracted to provide technical assistance to the National STI & AIDS Control Programme (NASCOP) to Support the Transition of Voluntary Male Medical Circumcision (VMMC) Scale-up in Kenya to an Integrated, Sustainable Phase.
The overall goal of the project is to assist the Government of Kenya in implementing the second phase of its Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) programme, which aims to sustain the gains achieved in the first phase of the programme, through improved governance, capacity strengthening and resource mobilization. The expected project results are: sustainable coordination mechanisms at national and subnational levels to enhance VMMC programming; a system of VMMC data management that will facilitate data analysis to assess service safety and quality; enhanced program management; strengthened in-country systems to deliver safe and integrated VMMC services; improved documentation and dissemination of VMMC programming to inform and influence other VMMC program nationally and internationally; and improved resource mobilisation for VMMC programming, based on the Kenya AIDS Strategic Framework, 2015-2019. The support will specifically focus in the five priority counties of Nairobi, Kisumu, HomaBay, Migori and Siaya.

All positions will report to the Program Coordinator – Technical Support Unit. All positions will require extensive field travel, strong interpersonal communication skills, computer literacy with good analytical and presentation skills. All positions will be closely supervised by NASCOP.
