Job Title: Key Accounts Manager – HORECA

Salary: Kshs 150,000 – 180,000 gross
Our client is a processor of milk and other milk products of uncompromising quality.
They use the latest milk processing equipment’s and ultra-modern technology to serve the society with various milk products such as full cream milk, skimmed milk, butter oil and milk powder.
They currently have a milk processing capacity of 500,000 litres per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Hotel/Restaurants/Corporate sales to create partnerships in respective markets and build strong long-term strategic commercial relationships
- Develop and Implement the market brand and HORECA strategies in order to deliver agreed levels of volume, value & profitability from those customers to the market
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing HORECA clients & promote sales by identifying new business opportunities with existing client base
- Explore Market level playing field regarding CSM and competitors positioning and (potential) customers
- Strive for expanding the business with current/new customers by getting knowledge about implicit customer needs, consumer trends, technology footprint of CSM and product application knowledge
- Learning about the market, the different products and the competitors in order to develop new business opportunities
- Responsible for achieving sales target for the HORECA channel.
- Formulate Budgets and monitor the expenses, sales Operations and Demand Planning.
- Work on enriching the customer pipeline by capturing the market shares or developing the market.
- Drive top of the mind awareness of dairy products through flawless execution of trade/consumer promotions and impactful visibility
- Ensured Brand, package and availability targets are met for HORECA Channel
- Formal Market Visits / Developed Schedules to enhance Good Business Relationship Building
- Monitor competitive activities and recommend line of action to win
Skills and Qualifications Required
- 5 – 6 years’ Key accounts Sales Management experience in FMCG industry’ preferably with Dairy milk company
- Excellent knowledge of HORECA
- Degree in Bcom Marketing or related field
- Efficient & pro-active customer problem solving
- Computer Skills: Excel / PowerPoint / Word (in order to do Presentations / Customer Letters / Analyzing Sales Figures)
- Strong in Strategic Thinking, Leadership, Communication, relationship management, stakeholder management
- Excellent Problem Solving & Decision making, Initiative & Follow through, Customer business Analysis.
- Valid driver’s license
