Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) is a State Corporation registered under Legal Notice Number 4 of the State Corporations Act Cap 446 in January 2019 as a Level 6 Tertiary Hospital and is now operational offering specialized referral services. The Hospital is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced professionals on a performance-based renewable contract as follows:
GASTROENTOLOGIST – V/FT/15/2021 – 1 POST
Responsibilities
- Performing specialized diagnostic procedures like endoscopies to diagnose patients
- Managing both inpatients and outpatients with gastro-intestinal
- Consulting with other specialists, such as oncologists, in the case of
- Performing advanced GI procedures such as ERCP, stenting of esophagus, dilation of strictures
- Should be able to supervise registrars and medical students
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution
- Master of Medicine in internal medicine from a recognized institution
- Fellowship in Gastroenterology from a recognized institution
- Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- Recognition as a specialist by the KMPDC
- Valid Practice License
- Professional Insurance Indemnity
- Proficiency in computer applications
