Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Carry out tests of Micro-biological and chemical analysis in the factory.
- Planning for acquisitions of chemicals and other equipment required in the laboratory.
- To ensure that the equipment are properly maintained.
- To advice the Managing Director on measures to ensure food quality standards are met.
- And any other duties assigned by the Managing Director from time to time in line of duty.
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Diploma in Laboratory Technology or its equivalent from a recognized training institution.
- Three (3) years working experience in Food-based Factory.
- Been able to carry out Micro-biological tests, chemical tests analysis, etc.
- Knowledge on safety procedure standards.
- Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution.
