Specific duties and responsibilities include:



  • Carry out tests of Micro-biological and chemical analysis in the factory.

  • Planning for acquisitions of chemicals and other equipment required in the laboratory.

  • To ensure that the equipment are properly maintained.

  • To advice the Managing Director on measures to ensure food quality standards are met.

  • And any other duties assigned by the Managing Director from time to time in line of duty.


For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:



  • Diploma in Laboratory Technology or its equivalent from a recognized training institution.

  • Three (3) years working experience in Food-based Factory.

  • Been able to carry out Micro-biological tests, chemical tests analysis, etc.

  • Knowledge on safety procedure standards.

  • Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution.

  • Clearance certificate from Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)

  • Certificate of good conduct from Criminal Investigation Department
