Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology is situated in Juja, 36 kilometres North East of Nairobi, along Nairobi-Thika Highway. It was started in 1981 as a Middle Level College (Jomo Kenyatta College of Agriculture and Technology (JKCAT)) by the Government of Kenya with the generous assistance from the Japanese Government. Plans for the establishment of JKCAT started in 1977
All applicants must possess:
- PhD in any of the following areas of specialization; Oncology Nursing, Palliative Care Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Nursing Leadership and/or Management and Health Systems Management from an accredited and recognized University
OR
- A Master’s degree in Oncology Nursing, Palliative Care Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Nursing Leadership and/or Management and Health Systems from an accredited and recognized University with at least three (3) years of university teaching experience at university level or level or research/industry.
- A minimum of 24 publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers
- All applicants must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya and have a valid practicing license.
