Job Title: Executive Customer Retention
Location: Mombasa
Company Profile
One of the largest manufacturers of high quality edible vegetable oils & fats, margarine, and laundry & toilet soaps in the East and Central African region.
Main Purpose of the job
* Credit Control within allowable limits
* Manage Process of Translating ‘Order Generation to invoicing’
* Forecasting
* Back Office Support for execution of Sales Activities – Promotions/Initiatives/Offers
Main Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate and supervise the functions and duties off the direct reports.
* Manage and maintain the company’s Sales & credits.
* Liase with the logistics and transport divisions in the despatch of customers’ goods.
* Rapid response on the market trends/changes due to prices, new product launches and the competitor activity with a view to introduce new ways of keeping the company ahead.
* Handling all the company’s industrial customers and those key accounts beyond the scope of the customer relations team.
* Public relations through making routine calls to the customers to understand their needs and problems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any problems relating to customer accounts that Customer Retention Executives are unable to resolve quickly and amicably.
* Process both the domestic and export credit and debit notes.
Knowledge and Experience Required
* Degree in Accounts from a reputable institution
* Excellent communication & persuasive skills
* 7 years experience working with FMGC
* Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
* Multi-task & have the ability to work under minimal supervision.
* Thorough Knowledge of MS – Office
