Marketing Executive Job Kenya

We are a very well established company in the business of importation, distribution and marketing of highly recognized international consumer brands in the FMCG sector.

We are currently undergoing rapid expansion and as a result we require a Marketing Executive who will develop and co-ordinate the marketing functions of the company.

We need a tenacious, ambitious, enthusiastic and an outgoing self-starter to join us. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical to succeed in this position as is the ability to follow up.

We are a vibrant and dynamic company that is looking to hire a like minded Marketing Executive.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, driven, responsible, loyal and great at networking.

Responsibilities

* Developing and executing Marketing plans and managing A and P activities and budgets in liaison with our International brand partners.
* Monitoring marketing efforts.
* Initiating and implementing merchandising programmes.
* Developing and conducting trade and consumer promotions.
* Monitoring competitor activities and responding appropriately.
* Providing monthly reporting on a timely basis to management of the company and also to our International brand partners.

We will hire the Best of the Best Marketing Executive in the next 7 days.

Qualifications

* The ideal candidate should have a minimum of at least 5 years of experience in the FMCG sector. Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience in the confectionery category.
* Knowledge and experience with Key Accounts Management is essential for this position.
* Exceptional organizational skills; able to multi-task, prioritize and balance competing & changing priorities.
* Problem solver; quick on your toes and able to apply your resources to find creative solutions.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
* Demonstrated Team Player.
* The ideal candidate will be based in Nairobi.
