A leading research-based pharmaceutical and healthcare company seeks a suitable candidate for the following post:

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE EXPERT
An exciting career opportunity has risen for a highly motivated and enterprising individual to join the organization as an OE Expert, reporting to the Head of Production/OE. The successful candidate’s principal purpose will be to improve site performance by utilizing Lean Sigma principles and Operational Excellence tools and methodology in order to achieve business goals and targets.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Making recommendations and implementing projects that would deliver incremental savings on a year to year basis based on Central OE and Site KPI’s.
* Engages with organizational staff on Operational Excellence tools and methodology.
* Interacts with entire site and manages cross functional project teams.
* Designs and implements performance measures to monitor improvements.
* Manages and co-ordinates the implementation of business process improvements at site in support of business targets.
* Provides mentoring, coaching and support to OE Advocates and managers.
* Transfers tools, techniques, knowledge and skills acquired during expert training sessions to site employees.
* Supports site champion in ensuring that OE becomes integrated with ways of working.
* Identify and resolve performance improvement project issues and risks that impact progress.

QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
* A University degree Industrial Engineering or its equivalent
* 2 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
* Sound judgment and problem
* Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
* Excellent planning and organizing skills
* Ability to improve systems and processes
* Have high integrity
