The functions of the Institute and its associated Statutory Committees and Board include setting
standards, training, registration, licensing, discipline, provision of membership services and promotion of the profession of procurement and supply chain management in Kenya.

Handling registration of new members and renewalsPlanning and managing membership eventsHandling inquiries related to membership and official correspondencesGrowing membershipActing as assistant secretary to the registration committeeMaintaining data on registration and membership activities and providing analysis of such recordsManaging the electronic membership database and websiteManagement of membership services – e-magazines, job referrals etcPerforms tasks related to above core functions as requiredMinimum of a Bachelors degree in social sciencesProfessional certificate/diploma in purchasing and supplyRegistered member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies ManagementMinimum 2 years experience in an administrative/procurement positionCompetency in website-managementFor all positions, candidates must possess the following competencies:
