This program is part of a US Government initiative against HIV in Kenya that receives funding from PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
ICAP in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and University of Nairobi would like to conduct a distance learning course on HIV surveillance.
The course presents an overview of public health surveillance techniques used to measure the impact of the epidemic and prevent and control the spread of infection among populations.

Distance Learning Course Administrator

Overall Job Function:
The Course Administer will coordinate and manage the overall planning and implementation of all aspects of the distance education course in HIV/AIDS Surveillance.
In collaboration with New York and Kenya distance education staff, the Course Administrator will help develop and manage the timeline for completion of all course-related activities, and will facilitate the overall coordination of the course.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Requires a bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years administrative or program coordination experienceExceptional organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to work comfortably with Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; some experience in IT support preferredInterest in distance learning approach and technologyAll applications including a current CV, telephone number and referees should be sent to the
