Executive Chef (Manager)

Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess at least four years of working experience in a similar position at luxury hotels/lodges within East Africa or Europe.   Core competencies: Leadership, Management, Planning, food preparation to international standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree or related culinary degree with four or more years of industry and culinary management experience. Previous experience with control food and labour cost, menu development, pricing and development of a culinary team preferred. Premise and liability accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.  Working experience in Europe and East Africa an advantage.  The ability to manage in a diverse and stressful environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role.Must have a passion for the production and presentation of excellent fare (seafood and meat) Fluent Swahili a huge advantage. Excellent references are essential.

The Executive Chef Manager will be provided with:

Notes:  

This position is open to single managers with no children. Female candidates preferred.  Reports to the Owners, whom are of Swiss and Columbian origin and whose standards are extremely high.  This position demands efficiency, accuracy and dedication. Non smokers preferred.

USD2500/Gross salary/month dependant on experience and skills.
