To manage the IT function on a day to day operational basis

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Proven experience of managing an IT department and internal network in a company of not less than 200 users.
• Proven experience in successful project management and implementation.
• Experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
• Strong planning, leadership, analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• A good understanding of all IT related technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of Bachelor Degree (Bsc).
• Relevant IT Certifications (Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCNA and CCNP).
• Good understanding of networking and network protocols.
• Good understanding of Server operating systems (Windows 2003, Linux).
Good understanding of Operating systems (Windows XP, Windows Vista).
• Good understanding of messaging systems (Microsoft Exchange, M-Daemon, Sendmail, Lotus Notes/Domino).
• Knowledge of database systems (Mysql, Microsoft SQL Server) Project management.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
