As the Social Media Marketer (SMMM), you’ll be responsible for managing and delivering all social media activities for the company, you will “own” social media and will be directly accountable to 69° results.

Implement a social media strategyYou will develop the plan and the parameters for 69° social media strategy.In close collaboration with the directors, you will determine objectives, establish what needs to be accomplished and define how it will be done2. Manage all 69° social media sitesYou will ensure accounts are updated on a daily basis and that messaging is timely and relevant. This also includes using social media tools i.e. Tweetdeck, Hootsiute etc to schedule tweets to appear overnight and on weekends, to promote the brands to night owls and clients in different time zones.3. Engage in dialogue and monitor customer issuesPeople will post both good and bad things about our company online. It is vital to monitor the Internet for any positive or negative feedback about 69° and its products, and then follow up on the feedback. You will encourage and thank individuals for positive feedback, and try to appease any unhappy customers.4. Monitor trends and encourage adoption of social media toolsYou will identify and report on social media trends for us to be on top of the latest trends and tools to ensure that we are ahead of the competition, reaching the maximum amount of customers and on top of our “tech game”.5. Search for news/articles to postYou will be tasked with the duty of constantly scouring the Internet and the news headlines for articles, stories and tips that are industry related and which can be posted to the social media accounts to promote brand 69.6. Implement social media campaignsTogether with head of creative, You will design things like e-coupons, promo codes or the chance of winning a prize for “Liking” us on Facebook. You will develop these ideas and bring them to fruition.7. Manage social media campaignsYou will track and monitor the effectiveness and success of online initiatives, in order to calculate a return on investment. You will then provide reports for executives on what worked and what didn’t work.With the help of executives, you will be writing interesting articles or blog postings on topics relevant to our company, our products or the industry generally. You will identify and develop blog posts and other materials. You may also recruit and develop other bloggers and blog editors.9. Use social networking analysis toolsYou will use twitter counter, Google analytics and other tools to measure click throughs and measure traffic activity in order to know the effectiveness of different channels10. Monitor both the Internet and social events for brand related activitiesThere are always conversations going on in the social space and social events that provide the perfect segue for us to promote 69. You will actively engage in industry conferences, events, chats, blogs, wikis, video sharing, etc. to promote corporate messaging and increase brand awareness, which will drive brand traffic to company website.11. Provide feedback to higher upsYou will be in constant contact with your supervisors to communicate on public feedback, complaints and conversations surrounding the brand that are taking place in the public sphere.12. Promote social media within the organizationEducate staff on the importance and use of social media, as well as the implementation of new technologies and campaigns. You will also promote social media activities internally.The first order of business is to assess our current social media accounts, our social marketing processes and strategies.Along with the company directors, create and implement a social media strategy framework that will be applied to each product engagement, including internal social media program.Execute all social media activities (i.e. tweeting, sharing, engaging, liking, increasing social reach, etc)Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog etc). together with the creative department, Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns (this will be done in close collaboration with the head of creative.Tweeting at least 50 times a day while engaging influencers to increase the followership of our social media profiles; receiving multiple mentions and retweets in the process.Posting several Facebook posts each day and finding new ways to leverage Facebook for professional and business purposes.Building a strong presence on Google+, making the most of SEO tricks to help our products get ahead.Working within Hootsuite, Optify, SEOMoz, FollowerWonk, and other social media tools.Writing one blog post a month about 69 productsCompile report for management showing results (ROI).You will need a bachelor's degree in marketing, Journalism, PR, computer science or similar. You will also need demonstrated experience in social and digital media, which includes being able to measure social media presence.2+ Years of Social Media Marketing experience on all major social media platforms – LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, and SlideShare.Verifiable examples of social media marketing successes and wins.Writing: excellent writing and language skills. Must have knowledge on how to write effective copy in a lot of different styles, for websites, twitter, Facebook, etc. Knowledge of writing for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is also needed.Exceptional business writing skills and can visualize as well as convey a message into relevant and interesting content.Technical Skills: you will work almost exclusively through computers.Understanding computers, SEO, Internet access and being tech savvy is necessary.
