Africa Leadership And Reconciliation Ministries (ALARM) is a Christian NGO that focuses on developing servant leaders to reconcile and transform their communities.
ALARM works in 8 East and Central African countries (Burundi, DR Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda).
ALARM is recruiting a highly qualified and competent professional with a wide range of experience in programs and organizational management from any of the 8 countries above, to fill the vacant position of Vice President for Programs and Development to be based in ALARM Headquarters, Nairobi – Kenya.
Purpose of the position: To develop, drive, and strengthen program designs and fundraising strategies through the stewardship of existing donors and broadening of donors spiritually, relationally and financially committed to the mission and vision of ALARM.
Key Qualifications: A Master’s Degree from a recognized university in a relevant field with at least 7 years working experience in a similar position within NGO’s or Christian Ministries.
High proficiency in written and oral English and French preferable; a working knowledge of Arabic is also desirable.
