Job Title: Hotel Business Development Executive
Industry: Hospitality
Location: Nairobi
Salary: 60K – 80K
Our client is a fast growing hotel in Nairobi.
They seek to hire an assertive, experienced and results oriented Business Development Executive to grow the hotel’s customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to budgeting and marketing plans that increase bookings and profitability
- Pursue all leads generated by marketing efforts, including inquiries through email, social media, the hotel"s website and respond to requests and covert to actual business
- Development of the hotel’s monthly sales plan
- Identify and grow opportunities within assigned territory achieving set sales targets
- Delivering sales presentations to targeted clients
- Attending client meetings
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
Competencies & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing or related field
- Experience in sales with a strong background in the hotel or tourism industry
- Ability to develop and grow existing accounts
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Strong account management skills
- Ability to build strong and long-lasting profitable relationships
- Enthusiastic approach with customers, confident on phone and in person
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Self-motivated, disciplined, goal and results oriented
- Excellent communication skills
