Engineering Company Business Development / Sales & Marketing Executives Jobs in Kenya




We are an engineering & construction company in Kenya and are looking to recruit qualified and motivated individuals to fill the following positions in our Nairobi office. 



The successful candidates shall meet the below criteria:-

Business Development / Sales & Marketing Executives


Job Summary: Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the incumbent will be responsible for the business growth and marketing functions of the company as per the targets set so as to ensure that all deliverables and business targets are met. 





Key Responsibilities


  • Preparation of attractive and effective Business Proposals and Tender responses.

  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers and partners through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction with the aim of building and retaining the client base with due regard to Company targets and projections.

  • Preparation of promotional materials such as the company profile.

  • Networking in order to keep abreast with all industry developments, taking part in market and technology research to ensure that the Company stays ahead and well represented.

  • Stay informed on competitors, their practices and operations, ensuring that the Company maintains a competitive edge.

  • Participates in negotiations with clients in conjunction with the Managing Director and the Project manager.

  • Involved in Strategic Planning through the development of business growth strategies.

  • Performs any other related duties and special projects as assigned by the Head of Department.


Qualifications and Experience


  • Degree / Diploma  in a Business or related course.

  • Must be highly proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

  • Must be a cutting edge marketer with ability to deliver on targets.

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in medium to large organizations.

  • A good understanding of the construction industry and its trends.

  • An individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills, innovative and possessing sound business judgment.

  • Should have strong written and verbal presentation skills.

  • Highest level integrity and professionalism.
