Position: International Finance Officer, START Project
Location: Nairobi
Contract duration: Fixed Term contract until December 2017
Basic Salary: Salary: Grade C – KES 238,791 per month

ActionAid is an international organisation, working with over 25 million people in more than 40 countries for a world free from poverty and injustice.
ActionAid International is implementing exciting 2 year projects: Surge & Shifting the Power.
These are multi-country, multiagency, collaborative capacity building projects as part of the START Network programme.
The International Finance Officer will be responsible for all aspects of their financial management.
This will include developing and maintaining financial systems and processes as well as ensuring financial controls, processes and procedures are in place.
You will provide project financial plans and reports as well as risk analysis and recommendations for risk management strategies.
You will also support the audit process, coordinate implementation of budgets and monitor spend. Important will be the ability to work closely with partner agencies and in country teams.
The ideal candidate must have a professional Accounting or Financial Management Qualification, experience of leading on financial aspects of donor contract management among others.
